Geelong Hockey Club will have four teams in action during the local final series that starts this weekend, so get around our teams and support them as best you can.
• Our U12 team is the standout team of our club. They went through the season undefeated! They start their finals campaign with a Semi Final against Newtown Strikers, starting at 8:15am next Saturday (27/8).
• Our Div 2 Women finished second. They look like playing a Semi Final against Saints Red at 2:00pm, Saturday 27th August.
• Our Div 1 Women finished second. They look likely to play a Semi Final against Torquay at 3:30pm, Saturday 27th August.
• Our Div 1 Men finished 7th in the merged Div 1/Div 2 mens competition. They get a week off before playing in a Preliminary Final on Saturday September 3rd.
• Our Div 2 Men finished 6th in the blended Men’s competition and will play a Semi Final against Newtown Falcons on Saturday 27th August. Time ‘to be confirmed’.
